This can only be used to follow train and subway service, yet its available for bus-only cities like Winnipeg. Of course thats not obvious until you download the app and set it up - which requires that you give them either your e-mail address or a link to your Facebook page. Cute. Oh, and from what I can tell the "Feedback" form in the app doesnt actually work.

Used months ago and worked great with times, and how long it would take from station to station. Now, does absolutely nothing! Refreshed, updated, used new locations and old history. Reported multiple times and has not worked for weeks. Take off the app store!

This app developer deceived users by charging for free updates. I purchased the main application along with individual plans. Recently, they have added an annual subscription fee & charged current customers. I purchased the services august 2009. Do not buy. Who is to say this company does not raise the price again with a new year subscription service.

Updates xlaed were free. No longer are. Also I cant install this app under OS 3.0. So now I have an app that I cant install and even if I could, it would be out of date. It was good before. It got much worse. Now wishing I could get my $$$ back.

As others have said, the switch to paying for subscription is a deal breaker. For MA transit, go with Masstransit. The layout and usability is far superior.

FRAUD!!!! Developers changed the product agreement!!!! When we all purchased this app the description stated FREE UPDATES....DO NOT TRUST THEM ANYMORE. how do I know this wont be changed to a monthly or even daily fee???!!!! I will delete this app and just go with FREE schedules updates online. At least I know I can trust them. Charging now for updates???!!!!!. This was not stated in the app description when I purchased it. I am reporting this to apple for false advertising and requesting a full refund for a very deceiving app. Everyone that got ripped off by this app should report it to apple. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!! Update : working on getting my refund from apple. I also find it interesting that the one person that is actually happy with this ripoff product continously updates his review with nothing but lenghty praise for this app.... Look for the reviewers that give more than two stars for your moles.....Hi developers!!! And by the way. This product is just NOT GOOD. The extra fees just make it all the worse!! I didnt know developers were allowed to post reviews on their own product here!!!! Bad product. Bad service. With developers that spend more time posting bogus reviews here than worry about REAL customer satisfaction. FAIL

This app gets me where I need to go, when I need to get there. Well worth its money.....saved me a couple of times

This app is great for mass transit users. The time till the next train is brilliant, as it aids in being able to catch the next train and schedule your time. The only thing I would add to make this app perfect are transit maps, like a map of each transit line. This would help users see how many stops they have till their destination and to help users figure out where they are going.

Do not purchase this app. - Schedules are wrong - Developper/support team is horrible! - Its on sale for a reason - majority of users are EXTREMELY unhappy with this app and the amount of money we wasted on it. - The developper is even getting people to post "5 star" reviews, which constantly get updated so they show at the top of the list. How MISLEADING! I am extremely unhappy with the support Ive recieved, the developpers violation of the purchase agreement and the way this developper consistently tries to decieve users. I would give this ZERO STARS if I could.

I live in NOVA and frequently ride the DC Metro. This will make my life so much easier finding the right train at the right time so Im not spending 30 minutes sitting in the subway station waiting for the next train! Great app for anyone who uses DC Metro!

Warning ! You will have to pay each year the same price, plus one more buck for transfers. Horrible customer support.

Program says no results for many trains. No subways in Philly and You must know the transfer station. Just use google maps it is better.

Why this is a great App: - Offline Access: I can get the train schedules whether or not I have an Internet connection, very helpful when Im in the subway. - Transfers: If I need to change trains to get somewhere where a direct route is not present this is a handy tool - Schedule Updates: Sure enough whenever there is a schedule update my iTransitBuddy alerts me to do a sync. Ive crossed checked the schedules and they are 100% accurate. Ive never had a problem. - Customer Service: I had a suggestion for the App and sent it to the developer and he responded to me right away! Why do some of these reviews sound like competitors? Interesting

If the application is not accurate, its of no value. Have been using off and on for several months and have come to depend on it. PATH schedule has not changed in a year. I think Ill go back to the paper schedule.

I bought the $4 version of this app about a month ago so I could have a schedule App that did transfers, which is what thi advertised. When I used it, it wanted $1 extra for that functionality, but it wouldnt work when I tried to purchase that part. I have passed several messages between myself and their support team, they kept saying it would be fixed in an update and not to worry about it. The update just came, its a seperate app with a "free trial" of 3 days, then Id have to buy the app again for the functionality that I already paid for. Their support was unwilling to waive that fee. I asked for a refund and they said go to Apple. Id really appreciate a refund so I can finally end all dealings with this back stabbing company. Dont purchase this app.

This has been on my watch list for a really long time-- I saw that its free so I rushed to download it!!! Free for three days and then you must pay a subscription fee-- lets work on truth in advertising

I purchased the full version of this app last fall which included ALL schedules- not just individual cities. Had a few issues back then which developer was slow to respond to. Eventually all worked until latest update. Now many transit lines dont give individual routes I.e phila SEPTA no longer shows R1,R5,R7 etc same for NJ transit lines. What good is the app if it gives me a time but doesnt tell me what train to catch or vice versa - doesnt let me pick my train line? Emailed developer twice in a week a zero response. Not to mention when my app crashed and I deleted/readded, the FULL version was no longer available which is what I paid for.

Had this app for a long time, at first it was OK ($3.99), also had a dedicated (SEPTA) version (which stopped working for no reason). Recently ITB stopped working and gave me an ambiguous message to update via the main search???...well, after removing and re-installing the now free app what they wanted was $1.99 for another years subscription. Now thats is OK to have time tables in your pocket, but the In App purchase just does not work. The only thing going for this is the Transfers, but I have given up. There are much better products out there.

The iTransitBuddy overall is a fine application. Or should I say WAS. They lure you in to the free application and after spending time loading and trying to figure out what is wrong with the app they suddenly tell you that they are going to charge you $1.99 per rail line. This application, although useful, is being run by a company that believes in bait-and-switch. They wont be seeing any of my money. Dont waste your time with this app unless you like to throw money to a con artist.
