iTransitBuddy App Reviews

51 add

Dude, Dont Upgrade from v5 to v6!

The app used to be good for traveling to multiple cities and using multiple transit systems a few times a year. Now, each system requires an add-on. So to get from New York to Philly, you could potentially have to pay $10 to map your route (using LIRR, PATH, NJ Transit, SEPTA and PEPCO). It used to be free. And I dont know how much more space each of those add-ons would take up. Yeah, the interface couldve used a revamp but this looks like just another greedy money grab for something that was great for light use and freeware/shareware. If spending $2-3 on each transit app, just find the best in class for each system and buy them outright. And if you already have v5.whatever - DUDE, DONT UPGRADE!!!

Do not upgrade to version 6.0

This app used to be a one-time purchase, but no longer. Now you must buy each route/transit agency separately, and pay $1.99 for each one, and if thats not enough, you must do so on a recurring basis (just to add insult to injury), significantly adding to the final tab. Blue Technology tried to pull the same stunt with a previous iteration of the app, but they backed down under public pressure. Funny they should think that people will like it better this time around…

Works well for what I need

Updated version of app works great. Works well for my needs.

Poor upgrade.

For those who regret the upgrade, because you lost your investment. It may be possible to downgrade. Check your recycle or trash or a Backup and replace the file in your iTunes library.

Ripoff

I paid for this app, and now they want me to pay again?

Pay and pay again

Received email offering 7-day free trial. Thing is, I paid for app. With this update, users who paid are being asked to pay an annual fee for each train line, so I paid for something thats now being changed to a different payment model without warning. Not customer friendly. Found another transit app for my limited needs and deleted this one - that I paid for. Congratulations.

rip-off app , DONT DOWNLOAD IT

I purchased this app a few years ago , now they want more money and they want you to pay a subscription every year for each travel agency ,,, the paid app is useless without a subscription …also the app needs a account , and if you use your Facebook account the app will post publications on your wall , ,, is not good ,,

Rip off

To add insult to injury, in addition to the whole "upgrade" fee, the app doesnt even display a schedule...

Register?

I need to register with your app to get transit directions? No thanks.

BEWARE - SCAM

This app is just a trick to get your Facebook or email info to sell it to spammers. Said I had to register using Facebook or email. I registered using a newly created account and found that (1) the app crashes, and when it doesnt, gives the wrong times; and (2) the email address I registered began getting massive amounts of spam messages shortly after.

What happened to the schedules?

Used to work great, but now every train has the same departure time. What?! Useless.
